La Crosse Society of Arts & Crafts sponsors a summer series of outdoor art fairs. This provides an opportunity for local artists to sell their artwork in a relaxed setting. The art fairs are held at the former site of Grandpa’s Barn Antiques on Lake Onalaska. It’s a picturesque location on County Z, Brice Prairie, in Onalaska. The address is 7203 N. Shore Drive.
Annie Gasper and Cathy Bulera are the co-chairs for A Season of Art. The 2009 committee includes: Suzanne Merkl, Pam Lee, Amanda Wilson, Melory Rasmussen, Merridee Moilanen, Judi King, Cheryl Keeffe, and Beth Rose. The art fairs are again scheduled for the first Saturday of each month. The hours will also remain the same: 10 am to 5 pm. Admission is free. For questions, please call Annie at 608-857-3344.
